survival mode isn’t one thing. mine looked like 3 hours of sleep and being scared to take a day off. there were nights I worked until midnight and still couldn’t shut my brain off. five jobs at once wasn’t ambition, it was fear. fear of falling on my face again and having nothing to catch me.

The domino effect of witnessing my boyfriends murder, developing CPTSD, severe anxiety and depression. Being unable to function to the point where I couldn’t work or do mundane things like grocery shopping. This could happen to anyone. Having a savings and planning is really important to me.
