The welcome was different today

Dominant Dog surprised me by being the first to run over today. Laughing Dog wasn't far behind, and before I could even get out properly, he was ready with another enthusiastic hug. Some routines change. Others never do. 🐾❤️

Daddy Dog likes giving me suspicious looks. Today I decided to stare back. The result? He got uncomfortable, moved away, and started barking at me. Apparently the side-eye only works one way. 🐾😂

Sad Eyes Dog doesn't enjoy competing with the other dogs at mealtime. So he found a safer place to wait. Now I bring his food over, and he gets to eat without worrying about anyone bothering him. Smart dog. 🐾❤️

As soon as I turned onto the road, I saw Smiling Dog waiting. Then I noticed Sad Eyes Dog standing there too. For only the second time ever. Months ago, he wouldn't have come close enough for this. Now he's waiting openly with the others. Small changes like this mean a lot. 🐾
