A large number of Thai citizens and Myanmar citizens have donated blood for the police sergeant at the Mae Sung police station, Thailand Tak district, Mae Tak.
This police sergeant was seriously injured yesterday (January 20) when he was shot by 1 suspect during the arrest of illegal substances in Mae Sok. They went to donate blood today at a major police hospital for the police sergeant.
Thai reports reported that 1 male Burmese policeman opened fire yesterday near the 7-Eleven next to a factory in Mae Cu, Mae Sok. Yesterday, 1 suspect was arrested and the man who fired the gun was still on the run.
At about 11 a.m. on January 21, officials from the Turk District Forensic Examination Department recovered clothes, bags and firearms that had been abandoned by the suspect in a cane plantation not far from the scene.
Currently, the suspect has not been found and officials have been conducting searches since yesterday, all day, all night.
The police sergeant at the Mae Su police station where he was shot is currently in the intensive care unit (ICU) of Mae Su Hospital after undergoing surgery.
