I prepared by consuming a balanced pre-workout snack, such as peanut butter banana cakes, which provide sustained energy. Additionally, incorporating complex carbohydrates is essential for endurance activities, as they offer lasting fuel during extended runs. Hydration and recovery practices, including dynamic stretching, also contribute to optimal performance. Remember, stretching both before and after a run helps prevent injuries and prepare the body for the physical demands of training.
