DRINK THESE - YOUR VAGINA WILL THANK YOU

Since a lot of you find my pt1 was helpful, here comes part2.

Remember to save and like for future!

1. Lemon water

Lemons support vaginal health as their acidic nature helps maintain the vagina's healthy pH level. Antioxidants in this citrus fruit also help protect the cells from free-radical damage.

In addition, they work as an immune booster to help your body fight infection.

To make lemon water, mix the juice of ½ lemon to a glass of warm water and add a little raw honey for taste.

2. Soy milk

The phytoestrogens in the soy product help keep the vagina lubricated, which is very important to prevent dryness, itching and other problems. It also contains omega-3 fatty acids, protein and vitamins and minerals to help body cope with premenstrual as well as menopausal symptoms.

Other soy products that you can include in your diet are soybeans, soy milk and tofu.

3. Okra water

Since both of okra and water help promote healthy blood flow, which is an important factor when promoting the secretion of vaginal lubrication, okra water drinkers may be more prone to experiencing less vaginal dryness than those who don't drink okra water.

... Read moreBuilding on my previous tips, let's dive deeper into how these amazing drinks can genuinely support your vaginal health! It's all about nurturing our bodies from the inside out, and what we drink plays a huge role. In my experience, consistency is key, and incorporating these into my daily routine has made a noticeable difference. First, let's talk more about Lemon Water. We know it's a fantastic immune booster and helps maintain a healthy pH level. But did you know mixing it with warm water first thing in the morning can kickstart your metabolism and detoxification processes? The antioxidants in lemons are also superstars, fighting off free radical damage throughout your body, including your delicate vaginal tissues. I usually squeeze half a lemon into a glass of warm water, and sometimes I’ll add a slice of ginger or a sprig of mint for an extra refreshing twist. It’s such an easy habit to adopt, and it really contributes to an overall feeling of wellness. Next up, Soy Milk. The phytoestrogens in soy products are truly beneficial, especially for promoting natural lubrication and combating dryness. This is super important, as good lubrication can prevent irritation and discomfort. Beyond that, soy milk is often fortified with essential vitamins and minerals, and it's a great source of protein and omega-3 fatty acids. If you're dealing with premenstrual or even menopausal symptoms, these nutrients can help your body cope. I love adding unsweetened soy milk to my morning smoothies or even just enjoying a glass on its own. There are so many delicious soy products out there, from tofu to edamame, that can also be easily incorporated into your diet for added benefits. Finally, Okra Water. This one might sound a little unconventional to some, but don't underestimate its power! As mentioned, it's incredible for promoting healthy blood flow, which is directly linked to natural vaginal lubrication. If you've struggled with dryness, giving okra water a try could be a game-changer. To make it, simply slice a few okra pods, soak them in water overnight, and then drink the infused water the next morning. Yes, it can be a bit mucilaginous, but you can always add a squeeze of lemon or a few berries to make it more palatable. My personal tip is to drink it chilled; it makes the texture much more pleasant. While these three are my top recommendations, remember that overall hydration is paramount. Drinking plenty of plain water throughout the day is the simplest yet most effective way to support your vaginal health, ensuring those mucus membranes stay hydrated. Additionally, incorporating other antioxidant-rich juices, like unsweetened cranberry juice, can be beneficial for preventing UTIs, which are often linked to vaginal health concerns. Fruits like kiwi, packed with Vitamin C, also contribute to overall immune health, indirectly supporting a healthy vaginal environment. It's truly about a holistic approach – combine these wonderful drinks with a balanced diet, good hygiene practices, and listening to your body, and your vagina will definitely thank you!
