Greenhouse Update 🌱1 month

It’s finally been a month since we first planted our seeds and a lot has changed! We have tons of growth 😭 even my advisor came in and was like “Wow is smells like growth in here” lol.

We have planted more seeds since my last update! We planted more tomatoes and peppers, the ones we planted previously barely germinated we only have 2 tomatoes seedlings 🥲. Hopefully they come up soon since we gotta transplant eventually. Anywho we also planted radish seeds during spring break and they already started to germ which is so cool, also I may have dropped some seeds on the greenhouse floor and some are germinating there whoops 😅

also while planting the radishes I found some volunteers in an old bag of soil (for my non gardening girlies “volunteers” are plants that pop up out of nowhere typically comes from seeds planted from animals, but since this is a greenhouse it’s probably from an old plant or seeds from last year) I planted the volunteers because I was interested to see what they are.

Last update we might actually have some Kale and Cauliflower! I was able to get to the outdoor grow buckets to water them and since it’s been raining alot they started to germinate! It’s so excited I really was about to give up hope. Not sure if I’ll be able to thin them out like the lettuces, but hey I’m letting Mother Nature take the wheel on those buckets.

And that’s it! This first month felt long, but I’m so proud of my little plant babies can’t wait to see how the greenhouse will develop!
