Piercing bump or keloid?

However, if the bump grows bigger, becomes hard, or painful, it might be a keloid, and consulting a professional piercer or dermatologist is advisable. Treatments for keloids can include silicone gel sheets, steroid injections, or laser therapy. Also, consider protection strategies like using pimple patches over the bump to reduce irritation from rubbing or external contact, especially if you work in places with lots of customer interactions.
