How do you study?

What are some study tips or encouragement that you have?

Studying for me is a thing I have to be in the mood for. I have to turn on relaxing music, clear my mind, maybe sip on some tea,and go from there. I study in increments of 30. I take a break for 10-15 then go back at it. All of my study materials have to be right in front of me because if I do too much moving around I get distracted.

Do you cram when you study? Its best to not cram because what really are you retaining? Cramming helps in the short term not long, causes more stress, and is just all around less effective.

For anyone that is stufying for a big exam right now or in the future, I say just take it slowly. Study in sections, have times when you study in the day, focus, and really apply yourself. I know the struggle because I am taking my RDA exam in the next 2 months.
