On our exciting service day at school, we prepared a delightful meal featuring pan-seared chicken breasts, emphasizing the importance of quality ingredients like sautéed mushrooms and demi-glacé. We also created a vibrant sauce with white wine, tomatoes, parsley, and fresh lemon zest for a burst of flavor. The compound butter added richness to our sautéed vegetables, providing a perfect complement to our dishes. In addition to the chicken, we crafted house-made fries and duchesse potatoes, showcasing our skills in presentation and taste. Lastly, we celebrated our hard work with a visit to Luna Maya, where I treated myself to shrimp tacos, adding a delightful ending to our culinary adventure.
