Participating in the Glow Dance Competition was truly an unforgettable experience for us. Beyond the excitement of winning top awards, what stood out was the incredible energy and passion that every team brought to the stage. As a small contemporary dance group, we had to focus intensely on synchronization and expressing the emotions behind our choreography to captivate both judges and audience. One tip I found useful was really immersing myself in the music and story of our routine; it helped me connect deeply and perform more authentically. Also, frequent rehearsals with careful attention to group unity made a huge difference in how polished our performance felt. It's amazing how every little detail counts when aiming for awards like Emerald and Platinum, which recognize not just skill but artistry and competitive spirit. For dancers considering competing at Glow or similar events, my advice is to embrace the experience fully—learn from others, welcome feedback, and celebrate each milestone. Competitions are as much about growth and camaraderie as about trophies. We’re already looking forward to future competitions to keep refining our craft and sharing our love for contemporary dance.
