Working at Romi’s pop-up store was a refreshing retail experience that I truly enjoyed. Arriving after a one-hour journey, I was welcomed by a vibrant, pink-themed workspace that instantly lifted my mood. Wearing the cute pink apron made me feel part of a team that shared the same positive vibe. A key to a smooth retail job here was learning the company's standard operating procedures (SOP) and thoroughly understanding the products. This preparation helped me confidently suggest options to customers, enhancing their shopping experience and making my role more fulfilling. Another highlight was working alongside my bestie, which made the work feel less like a job and more like a fun collaboration. We supported each other throughout the day, whether it was keying in customer orders or arranging the daily sales report after lunch. Maintaining hydration and taking breaks were essential, especially before the long journey home after closing the shop. This experience showed me that a supportive work environment and good teamwork can turn a first retail job into a memorable adventure worth reminiscing about in the future.
