Summer 2024
It’s been a very eventful summer for me. Lots of changes and new experiences. Thought I’d share a few memories.
My family and I drove down to Florida this year and got the amazing gift of a much needed vacation. We spent a few days enjoying some Disney World parks and Coco Beach. It was my kids first time to a major theme park and to the beach. We were able to find some hidden gems that gave us some respite from the Florida heat like the Dumbo indoor playground and the Aquarium at Epcot.
I also reconnected with my love of nature walks and found a hidden spot at a local walking path after a rain fall. Didn’t know how much I needed to experience that quiet place among the chaos of life.
Now we’re all back to reality, the kids have started school and their new routines, but I’m glad we made these memories. Last one was taken the weekend before school started in my county. Seems like a fever dream now… Anyway, hope you all had/have a good summer. What kind of memories did you make?
