A luxury pool villa on the edge of the Lao PDR designed by Thai architects.
Moon House: A Modern-Style House on a Natural Way by the Mekong River at Vientiane
The design of the Pulvila house at the Lao PDR, which we intended to convey the definition of the word "moon house" as the name of the house that the landlord had set up, became an architectural work that surrounded the happiness of the people of the house by placing a U-shaped plan like a half moon to create privacy in the backyard zone and open up to the full view of the Mekong waterfront.
The building emphasizes emollient tones and materials used in decorative works that emphasize spontaneity. It has a deep touch finish mimicking dimensions on the moon surface. It allows the building itself to look soft and modern at the same time.
We focus on sun and wind direction management, orienting the building to catch north and south winds, with the building itself helping to shade the west sun to the backyard rest zone.
The interior space emphasizes transparency with a large high-ceiling living hall connected to the pool, with a full range of facilities, gym, sauna and pool living areas, like bringing a resort home.
This house we completed in the middle of last year is currently in the process of construction.
