B.C. Premier David Eby and Jobs Minister Ravi Kahlon will travel to India from Jan. 12–17 on a trade mission aimed at expanding economic ties and supporting local industries. The delegation will meet government and business leaders in New Delhi, Mumbai, Chandigarh and Bengaluru, with a focus on forestry, clean energy, mining, and tech. India is B.C.’s largest trade partner in Canada, with $2.1 billion in bilateral trade in 2024.
