Our side street space was just sand.
After building the house, my husband, daughter and I made various parking lots and Koyu spaces like craftsmen 🤣🤣

家の脇道スペースのDIYは、狭くて作業が難しい場所ほど達成感が大きいですよね。ピンコロ石を1つ1つ差し込むために深く掘ったり、重さに耐えながら慎重に配置する作業は、まさに体力勝負でした。私も似た経験がありますが、小さなスペースでの作業は身体を屈める姿勢が長時間続くため、こまめに背伸びをして筋肉をほぐすことが大切です。 また、ピンコロ石のペンキ塗装は見た目の統一感と保護の両方で効果的です。筆者がレンガと同じ色で調合したペンキを使うのは、全体の調和を意識した良いアイデアだと思います。近年はDIY用の耐候性ペンキも増えているので、外壁や地面用のものを使うと長持ちしやすいです。 風水石 を敷き詰めることで運気アップを願う気持ちも素敵ですね。風水では石の色や配置によってエネルギーが変わるとも言われるので、そのこだわりが空間に特別な意味合いを加えています。狭い脇道でもこうした思い入れのある場所づくりは、住まいをもっと心地よいものにしてくれます。 最後に、作業中の小さな工夫としては、脚が攣りそうな時は足先を動かしたり、ふくらはぎを軽く揉むと予防になります。限られたスペースでのDIYは負担も多いですが、その分完成した時の喜びはひとしおです。ぜひ次の脇道DIYの参考にして頂けたら嬉しいです！
