Honest in the little things → Honest in the big things.
🌿 Honest in little things → Honest in big things. 🌿
Reference Bible Verse
> "He that is faithful in little things shall also be faithful in much things; and he that is dishonest in little things shall also be dishonest in much things" (Luke 16: 10).
Description
God evaluates our hearts and actions, not just in the big things, but in the small things of daily life. To be honest in the small things, such as keeping our words, giving back, or working to the fullest of our abilities, is to train our hearts to be ready for larger responsibilities.
In the last days, everyone will be tested for faithfulness and obedience to God (Revelation 14: 12) To be faithful in the small is therefore, to be prepared for standing firm in God's truth, when tested in the big things or during times of confusion in the world.
Daily use
1. Get up early and do your work or homework to the fullest extent. Don't wait for anyone to check.
2. Speak the truth, even if others may not see it, or even if someone misunderstands it.
3. Keeping small promises with friends or family, such as sending things on time, helping with housework according to duties.
4. Manage money or personal property with integrity, such as not taking other people's things without permission.
The practice of being honest in these small matters helps build habits and readiness for making big decisions and standing up in the latter days.
Question
1. Do you have a few examples that you are honest about and feel proud of?
2. If you are dishonest in small matters, how will it affect your trust and growth in faith?
3. In the last days, how do you think that daily honesty helps you to stand in God's truth?
