It's not just comforting; ginger is a potent anti-inflammatory and known for its nausea-relieving properties, which is a blessing when you're feeling under the weather. And lemon? Hello, Vitamin C! It's an antioxidant powerhouse that truly supports your immune system. I always make mine with fresh ginger slices simmered for a few minutes, then add a good squeeze of fresh lemon juice and a drizzle of raw honey once it cools slightly.
