It’s important to distinguish between loneliness and solitude. Solitude is an intentional, nurturing space where you can breathe, reflect, and reconnect with your true self. Carving out this space regularly can enhance your emotional resilience and clarity. Building emotional boundaries is about protecting your energy and mental health. It doesn't mean shutting others out but learning when and how to say no, and recognizing when a relationship or interaction is negatively impacting your well-being. I’ve found that setting these boundaries helps me maintain healthier relationships and foster deeper self-respect.
