I found that acknowledging this allowed me to maintain some balance without being overly strict. For breakfast, I opted for an espresso shot from Starbucks paired with a jalapeño cheddar bagel topped with Philadelphia cream cheese, which gave me a spicy yet creamy start. Throughout the day, I enjoyed a Biscoff latte and a sugar-free lollipop while taking notes, keeping my energy levels manageable without excess sugar. Lunch was particularly satisfying—a bowl filled with shrimp, beef, herbs, and vermicelli noodles provided both protein and comfort during the busy day. Though not photographed, a later snack of froyo and popcorn during movie time with my boyfriend was a much-needed treat. I aimed to hit about 90 grams of protein and took nearly 9,000 steps, balancing nutrition with physical activity to manage stress. From my experience, staying flexible rather than aiming for perfection helps maintain overall wellness during stressful times. Small indulgences, like a sugar-free lollipop or a latte, can boost morale without derailing your goals. The key is to listen to your body, savor nourishing meals, and keep moving, even if just a little, to support both mental and physical health.
