Walks with Bogey 👟 🐾
🦴If there’s one thing Bogey loves, it’s going for walks. We try to walk him at least one mile every day, and he always manages to find every single stick (or branch) and tries to bring it home!
👩🏼⚖️When I walk him, I love listening to my favorite podcast - Strict Scrutiny. Hosted by three constitutional law professors, this podcast provides analysis on SCOTUS and its cases, something that I love listening to as a soon to be law school student.
👟When it’s super hot, we make sure Bogey has his little booties on. They not only save his paws from the hot concrete, but also protect his feet from the tennis court he and the other dogs around us love to play at!!
🌲 And of course, no walk is complete without him picking up a comically-large branch and attempting to get it up the stairs. Maybe one day he’ll learn, but that day isn’t today.

Walking your dog can be a delightful experience. It not only provides essential exercise for your furry friend but also offers a chance to bond. Incorporating booties for hot weather is a smart move to protect their paws. Furthermore, listening to an engaging podcast like "Strict Scrutiny" can make your walks informative and enjoyable. This podcast dives deep into constitutional law, providing beneficial insights for aspiring law students. Remember, making walks fun for your dog can include activities like fetching sticks or finding unique branches. Exploring local parks or natural trails keeps your walks exciting and refreshing. Engaging with other dog owners while socializing your pet enhances the experience for both of you. Always stay vigilant about your dog's comfort, safety, and hydration during the walks, especially on warmer days. Embrace the moments when dogs try to carry oversized sticks up the stairs — those cute behaviors are part of what makes walking them special. Enjoy every stroll, and your dog will surely appreciate the time spent together!
