I love this book. If you adore the lighthearted and heart warming nature of The Princess Bride, then give this book a shot.
Tress is “not like other girls” (lol stay with me) or at least not like other girls I’ve read about recently. Girls that are powerful, snarky, sarcastic, sexy, strong-willed, funny, and make for fun protagonists (and I also adore my powerful badass women don’t get me wrong).
Tress, she’s boring. She likes the simple and mundane. She goes to bed on time. She collects cups.
She’s normal.
And I absolutely love that about her, because what makes Tress normal is also what makes her unique. As this is a book with a plot, Tress goes on an adventure. And quite an adventure it is.
