I wish someone would’ve told me that during a Fitness Journey , you are going to commit so many mistakes that can hinder your progress and that it is OK ! A lot of the times we compare ourselves to people that get quick results or have a smooth fitness journey. The phrase “It takes time but time passes anyways” perfectly captures the essence of persistence. Many people experience frustration when they compare their progress to others who appear to advance faster or have smoother journeys. However, each person's body, lifestyle, and starting point are different, making direct comparisons unhelpful and even harmful. Instead, focus on your personal growth and celebrate small victories. Learning from mistakes, rather than being discouraged by them, builds resilience and helps you develop sustainable habits. Patience and self-compassion are key. Accept that setbacks happen and that they do not define your abilities or potential. Adjust your goals as needed, and stay consistent with your effort. Engage with communities or hashtags like #fitnessjourney, #fitnessmotivation, and #glutes to find support and inspiration from others who understand the ups and downs of fitness life. Remember, your unique commitment will pay off over time, and the process is just as important as the destination.
