walking light: day 259 @ 10,000 steps!
sometimes resistance isn’t loud. it’s not always a protest sign or a raised fist. sometimes resistance is lacing up your shoes… and choosing to move.
when the weight of burnout presses in, when stagnancy whispers “stay here,” walking becomes my quiet rebellion.
i walk to keep my mind from rusting.
i walk to keep my spirit from shrinking.
i walk because movement reminds me that i am still becoming —even if the world tries to convince me i’m stuck.
the rhythm of my steps affirms that:
i am alive.
i am capable.
i am moving toward my own light.
🌸 so… take 10 mins today and go for a walk, even if it’s once around the block. trust me, you need it.
