Let’s Talk Big Girl Things!

2025/1/2 Edited to

... Read moreOkay, so you've seen the quick peek into my Coach Lana Bag, my ultimate 'big girl purse' that Coach really nailed this year! But let's dive a little deeper than just a list of items. It's not just what's in my bag, but why it's there and how it all stays somewhat organized. First off, anyone else have multiple wallets? It might sound extra, but hear me out! I have my 'main wallet' with my essential 'cards, cash, license' for daily errands. Then there's 'Wallet 2,' which for me is often an 'old wallet' that 'just holds my checkbook' or loyalty cards I don't need every day. This keeps my main wallet slim and easy to grab, and it's perfect for when I'm running errands and just need my ID and a card. It's a game-changer for keeping things tidy and making sure I'm prepared for any financial interaction. Now, let's talk true 'life essentials.' Beyond the obvious, I always have my 'feminine essentials' on hand. We've all been there, right? Being prepared is key, and having a small, discreet pouch for these items means you're never caught off guard. And speaking of preparedness, 'kleenex' is a non-negotiable. Not just for sniffles, but for those unexpected spills or to wipe down 'dirty surfaces' when you're out and about. You 'never know' when you'll need a quick clean-up – a true 'life essential'! And for personal comfort, especially if you're like me and spend a lot of time on the go, those little luxuries make a huge difference. 'Body butter' is a must – 'won't catch me ashy if I can help it!' Keeping my skin hydrated, especially my hands, is so important, especially when you're constantly sanitizing or washing. And 'can't have dry lips,' so a good lip balm or gloss is always present. These are small items, but they add so much to feeling put-together and confident throughout 'the day.' I also keep some specific items because I 'need these to drive,' like my sunglasses for sunny days or a spare hair tie for unexpected hair emergencies. It's all about anticipating what you might need as a 'big girl' navigating daily life. The beauty of a structured bag like the Lana is that it helps keep everything from turning into a black hole. I often use small pouches within the bag to group similar items – one for tech accessories like AirPods, one for makeup touch-ups, and one for all those 'extra' bits and bobs like pain relievers or a mini sewing kit. This way, even if I'm hurrying, I can find what I need quickly, making my 'big girl purse' a truly functional companion. Thinking about your own daily carry? Consider not just what you need, but why you need it. Does it serve multiple purposes? Is it easy to access? Your bag should be a collection of items that support your day, making life a little smoother and preparing you for anything. It’s about curating your personal survival kit! What are your absolute non-negotiable bag essentials that make your day easier?

The image features the title "HOW TO GET OUT OF A SLUMP" in red text. It shows a hand holding a smartphone with a blank screen and a bed with clothes on it, all against a light pink background with red accents.
This image defines a "slump" as having no motivation despite tasks, listing symptoms like excessive phone usage, inability to get out of bed, feeling groggy, and being unable to complete tasks. It asks "so.. how do we get out of it?" with a swipe prompt.
The image presents five tactics to overcome a slump: the 5-second rule, the 5-minutes rule, using past mistreatment as motivation, romanticizing small tasks, and watching motivational videos. It notes these are personal tips, not guaranteed fixes.
