... Read moreHaving children with a 16-month age gap can feel overwhelming at first, especially when you wonder, "What did I just do?" But from my personal experience, the challenges are quickly outweighed by the incredible bond that develops between siblings this close in age. Around the two-year mark, your children often become best friends, sharing toys, adventures, and milestones together. One thing that helped me immensely was embracing the unpredictability of motherhood. While the early days involved juggling sleepless nights and constant attention shifts, the joy of watching my kids grow up arm-in-arm made it all worthwhile. They taught me resilience and the value of quality time, as well as patience. In addition, having children so close provided unique opportunities for them to learn from each other. The elder child's curiosity and sense of wonder often sparked their younger sibling’s development, and vice versa. This close age gap encouraged a dynamic family environment filled with fun, energy, and sibling companionship. Of course, there are practical challenges such as doubled diaper changes and managing two schedules, but the emotional rewards far surpass these. Connecting with other "mom life" communities online and offline, especially those sharing experiences with "#twoundertwo" or "#16monthagegap," can provide invaluable support. In essence, while venturing into motherhood with a short age gap might initially feel daunting, the journey leads to an incredibly rewarding outcome where siblings grow up as lifelong friends. Seeing this transformation firsthand has been one of the greatest honors and joys of my life.

if you’re bad at being consistent, read this ➡️
my whole life i defined consistency as perfection. if i slipped up, missed a day, made a mistake, then in my head i “broke my streak” and had to start all over again (which is super discouraging) but consistency isn’t doing everything exactly right every day. it’s about showing up to the table -

how to get going when you don’t feel good!
we all have those days when life just feels a little harder 🫂💞to give yourself a chance at feeling good, you have to get going first! 1️⃣ accept what’s happening if you feel slow or unmotivated, that’s fine! it’s normal. don’t judge yourself for feeling that way, or read too much into it. acc

I get a lot of messages daily from strangers who so passionately express how they look up to me and admire the time I spend working on myself. It’s such an honor to be the source of motivation for so many people but truth be told I’m a workaholic with anxiety, post grad sadness and a creative mind

Knowing if you should keep learning the language that you have dedicated lots of time and effort (and maybe money) towards can be challenging. Everyone’s language learning journey is completely different and unique, but there are some signs that we can pay attention to that may be indicators that
