Forget elaborate meals; sometimes, all you need is a delicious spread of your favorite bits and bobs to feel totally satisfied. The beauty of a savory snack plate is how incredibly customizable it is. You can literally throw together whatever you have in your fridge and pantry, and it always turns out amazing. For my current favorite combo, which I've been perfecting, I love starting with some creamy elements. Feta cheese is a must for that salty tang, and a generous dollop of hummus provides a smooth base that pairs well with almost everything. Sometimes I swap the feta for a soft cheese like Boursin or a sharp cheddar for a different flavor profile. Next up, the crunch factor! You absolutely need some texture to make things interesting. Pretzel crisps are fantastic for dipping into hummus, and who can resist a handful of classic potato chips? They add that perfect salty, crispy bite that just hits different.
