Entering my funemployment era (just 2 weeks 🙃 but let me be) so sharing something more fun and light-hearted, hoping to capture the happy memories of the short time im going to have 🤭
Taking a deliberate break through funemployment offers a unique opportunity to reset and rediscover simple joys. During my two weeks off, I’ve immersed myself in the pleasure of café hopping, sampling specialties like the delicious Rise Bakehouse cakes and aromatic teas, alongside visits to popular spots such as Hoshino Coffee and Tenya. These treats not only delight the palate but also provide a comforting ritual that marks the rhythm of my days. What I’ve come to appreciate most is the freedom to slow down and prioritize quality time with myself. Catching up on reading, journaling, or simply sitting quietly with my thoughts has helped me reconnect with my well-being. Integrating #MeTime into my routine fosters both mental clarity and creativity, reminding me that rest is essential, not a luxury. Funemployment has also given me space to explore new interests without pressure, whether it’s trying out a new café or experimenting with my own matcha blends. This period of intentional rest strengthens my resilience and prepares me to re-engage with work and daily challenges more energized and focused.
