Perfect Summer Snack!!

#summerdiary #lemon8contest The BEST summer snack you can make easily at home is Cinnamon Sugar Rice Krispy Treats! This recipe calls for Butter, Rice Krispies(any brand will do), Marshmallows(also any brand works, don’t use jumbo sizes), G. Cinnamon and PC. Sugar! Also, yes, please use Ground Cinnamon and Pure Cane Sugar, not the already mixed Cinnamon Sugar. It doesn’t taste as good, trust me.

Anyways, Melt one cup butter in a big pot then add in Marshmallows.

Continue stirring until Marshmallows are melted then add in your Rice Krispies.

BE CAREFUL! You could end up caramelizing and/or cooking everything! Now, Stir the Rice Krispies for about three seconds then take off heat and keep FOLDING the mixture. Does it say continue stirring in the picture? Yes, because I f__ed up. Let it Rest for about a minute then fold in Ground Cinnamon and Pure Cane Sugar. Once that’s done, pour the mixture into a baking sheet or pan of sorts and press it down to pack it in. Now you can put it in the fridge for about an hour up to 24 hours, cut into any shape you’d like, and Enjoy!! They really are super easy to make and taste better (in my opinion) than regular Rice Krispies. This is also a good summer activity to do with your friends, family, children, etc! Enjoy!!
