Nail care routines can become challenging when anxiety disrupts focus, but setting small, achievable goals to maintain nail health can also serve as a helpful self-care practice. If you find that your nails often become chipped during anxious days, it might help to pair nail care with relaxation techniques. Practices like mindful breathing, using stress balls, or engaging in hobbies that keep your hands busy, such as crafting or drawing, can reduce nervous energy and decrease nail-biting habits. Recognizing and accepting these signs of anxiety is part of self-awareness and mental health management.
