This looks so damn good I also add a little sugar to my spaghetti because it helps with the acidity from the tomatoes. I have also tried the rotel crushed tomatoes before in my spaghetti and it was also really good too 🤤

This looks really good & if you'd like for it to pop some take you some regular sized Walmart brand Great Value Pepperonis cut in fours I do mine that way but you could do it half, fours or whichever you'd like. It helps pickup some of the sauce also and gives it a better flavor. Now this is with the noodles & sauce mixed together then I cut the pepperoni and mix thoroughly. I live along the coast of NC and I too use a little sugar in just about everything I cook. It does not make anything sweeter but it does cut the acidity from the tomatoes in the sauce. Also when I cook corn, tomato's, green beans, carrots, things like that & all of my greens such as collards, kale, mustard, turnips, I always put about 1 - 2 TBSP of white sugar bc it'll take the bitterness out of the greens. I do not use any oil in nothing I cook either. I will use Bacon grease aka liquid gold ( us southerners call it that).& I use Lard as well both of them will make all your vegetables especially your greens taste like they've come from a restaurant. enjoy!!🩷
