✨April Finished Reads✨
🎧 The Familiar by Leigh Bardugo. Stand alone fantasy with a light magical system. It’s set in Madrid Spain, during the Spanish Golden Age. I really enjoyed the narrator for the book, I found it added to the atmosphere and story telling.
🎧 Your Knife, My Heart by K.M. Moronova. This is book one of a dark military romance, with forced proximity. I listened to this one during a road trip, as well as The Familiar.
📚 Rites of the Starling by Devney Perry. Book two of a romantasy. Left me on a cliff hanger, literally. Can’t wait for book three. Hopefully it comes out next year!
My favourite read this month is definitely Rites of the Starling.
