Changing, looking at colors and choosing shades is the hardest part of this piece.
The difficulty is not simple gradients, because it is not enough to gradient from light to dark, but to make the blane colors come together as softly as possible, so that the joints are invisible.
Embroidery is different from painting in that we can't mix colors into the desired colors. Every color used is only available as far as the thread will give us a choice.
What helps is therefore not color mixing, but observation, color comparison, senses in vision, and most importantly, the courage to use color.
Sometimes the color that makes the work look realistic is not the same shade as the main color, such as making the yellow gradually connect to the purple, or making the pink naturally flow to the blue.
Between two different colors, there is always a hidden "welding color."
Our job is to see it and dare to take it.
