Bullying is a pervasive issue that affects people of all ages, especially in schools and workplaces. From my own experience, I've seen how subtle comments or exclusion can have a lasting impact on someone's self-esteem. Recognizing bullying behavior is often the first step toward making a change; it isn't always physical and can manifest as verbal insults, spreading rumors, or social isolation. It's important to create awareness within your community and encourage empathy. When someone is bullied, they often feel alone and helpless. Offering support, listening without judgment, and standing up against unfair treatment can help victims feel valued and understood. I have found that when bystanders choose to speak out, it disempowers the bully and empowers the victim. Doing better means actively cultivating kindness as a daily habit. Whether it’s encouraging positive dialogue, promoting inclusivity, or educating others about the effects of bullying, each small action contributes to a safer, more respectful environment. Remember, bullying stops when we choose to treat others with dignity rather than perpetuate harm.
