Is Trisha Paytas Bullying her children?

Trisha Paytas has officially announced the birth of her third child. I had to sit down and mentally prepare myself for the mess of a name I was sure she’d given it.

Seconds turned into minutes, one sigh turned into dozens and, before I knew it, I was picking my phone back up and preparing myself for the worst… yet, somehow, the name was even worse than I could have ever imagined.

Aquaman.

The baby’s name was… Aquaman. Like the movie character.

Aquaman Moses Paytas-Hacmon, to be exact.

This is Trisha‘s third child, preceded by his older sisters Malibu Barbie and Elvis Paytas-Hacmon. I know that Trisha‘s whole claim to fame is being wacky and unpredictable, but it really pains me to see that she would set her children up for a lifetime of ridicule with such ostentatious, off the wall names.

This feels like a desperate attempt to grab headlines for being sOoO qUiRkY at the expense of her children. I can’t help but wonder: at what point is a name bad enough to be considered bullying your own child? Purposely choosing to name your child something that you know is objectively ridiculous and will lead to people laughing at them throughout their entire lives and asking them if that monstrosity truly is their real name is just so cruel.

Mind you, she said the other names that she had considered for her son included Papermate and Watersnake.

I wish I were joking.

Trisha makes good money online as a social media influencer, but I’m not sure that it’s the sort of money that will shield these kids from having to eventually put those ridiculous names on resumes and face the discrimination that comes with names that are considered low brow and absurd.

But at least she managed to score some headlines, right?

Sigh.

... Read moreMany fans have shared mixed feelings about Trisha Paytas’s choice of baby names for her children. While some admire her boldness and creativity in stepping away from traditional names, others express concern over potential challenges these kids could face. Naming a child something as distinctive as Aquaman or Malibu Barbie is adventurous but can also bring unintended social consequences. Children with unusual names might experience teasing or difficulty fitting in during school years, which is something every parent likely wants to avoid. However, some argue that unique names can foster individuality and confidence if supported well at home. Personally, I think it’s important that parents consider not just headline-worthiness, but also the lifelong impact these names might have. It’s good to ask whether a name could subject a child to bullying or make everyday interactions harder. Trisha’s choice to name her son Aquaman clearly highlights her love for quirky and unconventional decisions. While it might grab social media attention, I hope the family provides strong support to help their children navigate any potential challenges. Ultimately, this situation sparks a broader conversation about how baby names influence identity and social experiences. Respecting parents’ freedom to choose while acknowledging possible outcomes can help us understand these debates better.

sometimes i hope/wonder if those are just fake names she uses online to cover up their real names so the media doesn’t know their actual names? idk

I hate Trisha Paytas… always have… always will. Most overrated person on planet earth. She’s a grifter and hasn’t done anything worth any attention since 2003.
