rating all the places i studied abroad part 2

London
2024/12/29 Edited to

... Read moreIn this follow-up to my study abroad series, I rate each destination based on personal experiences and preferences. Amsterdam, with its charming museums and abundant greenery, received a solid 9/10. Although I enjoyed the local cheese and beautiful landscapes, I had my reservations about my hostel. Brussels, on the other hand, scored a 6.5/10 as the stunning churches and architecture impressed me, but overall the city's ambiance left me wanting more. Bruges, a UNESCO World Heritage site, enchanted me with its fairy-tale vibes and delightful cuisine, earning an 8/10. My visit to Dublin was underwhelming, scoring only 2/10 due to the lack of vibrant culture I anticipated. The Cotswolds stood out as a magnificent escape with a 9.5/10 rating, where I loved exploring its picturesque towns, each radiating charm and uniqueness. Brighton provided a lively atmosphere, balancing beach relaxation with bustling shopping; I rated it 7.5/10. Finally, London, my home base for four months, is where I truly found joy and connection, earning an unmatched score. The city’s culture, delicious Indian food, eclectic pop-ups, and rich book culture made it unforgettable. If I could do it all again, I would undoubtedly choose London as my study abroad destination.
