Using fresh ingredients, this recipe not only provides essential nutrients but also encourages sensory exploration during mealtime. In addition to the main ingredients, consider enhancing the soup by adding herbs like basil or parsley for added flavor, as well as boosting the nutritional content with other vegetables such as carrots or spinach. Preparing the soup with low-sodium chicken broth ensures that it's safe for babies. When serving, allow the soup to cool to a safe temperature and encourage your child to feed themselves using a spoon, helping to develop motor skills.
