Running is not a destination it’s a journey. 💕 it’s good to be back 😜😊 ##running ##runbymom

... Read moreStarting to run again after some time away can feel daunting—"CAN I EVEN DO THIS?" is a question many of us silently ask ourselves. I remember my first days back, hesitating at the start line but reminding myself that running is truly a journey, not just a destination. One tip I found helpful is to set small, achievable goals to rebuild confidence and endurance gradually. Whether it's running for a few minutes without stopping or pacing yourself to avoid injury, every step forward is progress. It’s also motivating to connect with others who share similar experiences—like other moms juggling life and fitness—who understand that every run counts. I often found that focusing on the enjoyment of running, rather than just performance, reignited my passion. The fresh air, the rhythm of my footsteps, and the sense of accomplishment kept me coming back. Plus, using hashtags like #running and #runbymom helped me join a supportive community online, where encouragement flows freely. Remember, the question "CAN I EVEN DO THIS?" is part of the process and an opportunity to prove to yourself that you can. Your running journey is personal, filled with ups and downs, but it’s ultimately about embracing the path and celebrating every milestone along the way.

I would NOT have considered myself a runner earlier this year. I've always enjoyed sprinting but long distance running was never my thing or something I was good at. But I decided to sign up for a 10 mile race in the summer to challenge myself and by surprise I slowly began to love running!!

How to Get Into Running
My best advice is to start slow and run/walk 2-3 times a week! Slowly decrease your walking amount each time and increase your running amount! I struggled getting my first 2-4 miles but I was going out way too fast so my body got too tired too early. It’s also good to establish goals. Do you want t
