✨ Cinnamon Sugar Pretzel Recipe ✨
Out of all the pretzels I made this one honestly takes the cake! Cinnamon sugar pretzels dipped in icing is one of the best sweet treats ever! It has the perfect amount of salt and sweet! What’s your favorite pretzel flavor?
Ingredients:
• 4-4 1/2 cups flour (I used bread flour)
• 2 1/4 teaspoons instant yeast
• 2 tablespoon light brown sugar
• 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1/4 cup oil
• 1 1/2 cup warm water
• 1 egg
• 1/4 cup baking soda
• Cinnamon Sugar for Topping
Directions:
- Combine the flour, brown sugar, salt, yeast, oil, and warm water in the bread machine and put it in the dough cycle.
- When the dough is done prepare a separate bowl of warm water and baking soda. And in another separate cup prepare the egg wash.
- Lightly flour your surface and cut a small strip of dough. Roll the dough into a log and then form it into the pretzel shape. Take the pretzel and dip it in the baking soda and water (make sure it goes under fully). Place the dipped pretzel on parchment paper and brush egg wash on top!
- Bake the pretzel at 450 degree Fahrenheit for 10-14 mins or until golden brown. Once done brush pretzel with melted butter and dip in cinnamon sugar mixture!
