✨ Turkey protein chili recipe ✨

Me and my husband were brainstorming recipes for ground turkey and I told him I wanted to make my famous chili but try it with ground turkey.

Ingredients

•1 lb ground turkey

•1 tbsp olive oil

•1 small onion, diced

•1 bell pepper, diced

•3 cloves garlic, minced

•2 tbsp chili powder

•1 tsp cumin

•Salt & pepper to taste

•1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes

•1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce

•2 cans beans (kidney, black, or pinto), drained

•1 cup chicken broth

Directions

- Heat oil in a pot over medium heat. Add onion and bell pepper; cook until soft. Add garlic and cook 30 seconds. Add ground turkey and cook until browned. Stir in chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, beans, and broth. Simmer uncovered for 20–25 minutes, stirring occasionally.
