It was an inspiring experience attending the official launch of NicaPro, a visionary collaboration between Omoni Oboli and Patricia Bebia — two powerhouse voices in African and Canadian cinema.

The event, held at CBC’s Glenn Gould Studio, unveiled a bold slate of six feature films connecting Nollywood and Canadian storytelling, along with the Future Reel Network, a platform empowering women in film across continents.
