Another story with Surprise : love session
Today, I will be sharing some note from today's sercice.
Text: Matthew 22: 35 - 40, 1 Corinthians 13:1 -3
Topic: love the main thing ❤️
Note:
• Learning to love is the most important thing God wants us to learn
• Loving God and loving people is the main thing
• If I don't live a life of love, nothing I SAY will matter
• If I don't live a life of love, nothing I KNOW will matter
• Love is a command, a choice, an action, and a lifestyle.
Reflecting on the passages Matthew 22:35-40 and 1 Corinthians 13:1-3, it's clear that love transcends being a mere feeling—it's a purposeful lifestyle. From my own experience, embracing love as a daily choice has transformed how I interact with both God and people. Love is indeed a command that requires conscious effort and commitment, acting beyond words or knowledge. In practical terms, living a life rooted in love means showing compassion even when it’s difficult, choosing kindness over anger, and prioritizing understanding rather than judgment. This aligns perfectly with the idea that if we do not live out love, our words and knowledge lose their impact. Moreover, love as an action motivates us to serve others selflessly and to prioritize relationships over individual gain. I've found that when I actively choose to love—I become more patient, forgiving, and empathetic, which inspires greater peace in my surroundings. These scriptural reminders emphasize that loving God and loving others are inseparable and foundational to a fulfilled spiritual journey. Love is not just a concept but a lifestyle that influences every decision and interaction. By rooting ourselves in love, we grow spiritually and create a more harmonious and meaningful life experience.

1 Corinthians 13:1-3 ERV [1] I may speak in different languages, whether human or even of angels. But if I don’t have love, I am only a noisy bell or a ringing cymbal. [2] I may have the gift of prophecy, I may understand all secrets and know everything there is to know, and I may have faith so great that I can move mountains. But even with all this, if I don’t have love, I am nothing. [3] I may give away everything I have to help others, and I may even give my body as an offering to be burned. But I gain nothing by doing all this if I don’t have love. ❤️❤️❤️
