Maybe it isn’t a must have but it DEFINITELY makes life so much smoother!! When we eat chicken I take some unseasoned and mix it into some regular baby food or just blend the food up that we are having. Saves so much time and money as well in the long run. If you’ve been thinking about getting a baby bullet just do it! 😍
I’ll have this linked in my Amazon store front in my bio! :)
... Read moreOkay, so if you're like me and constantly looking for ways to simplify parenthood, let me tell you, getting a Nutribullet Baby Blender was one of my best decisions. I know the original post mentioned it's a game-changer, and I couldn't agree more! When I first started making my little one's food, I was overwhelmed. Store-bought purees are convenient, but they add up, and I really wanted to control the ingredients. That's where this little powerhouse came in.
What I love most is how versatile it is. The nutribullet BABY blender system usually comes with two blending cup sizes – a larger one for bigger batches and a smaller, personal cup for individual servings. This is fantastic because I can blend a week's worth of apple puree quickly, or just a small portion of what we're having for dinner right then and there. For example, when we're having roast chicken and carrots, I simply take a small, unseasoned piece of chicken and a few cooked carrots, toss them into the blender, add a little water or breast milk, and within seconds, I have a fresh, nutritious meal for my baby. It makes meal prep feel effortless, not like another chore.
Beyond the ease of blending, the practical accessories truly elevate the experience. The three clear baby food jars with light blue screw tops are perfect for storing individual portions in the fridge for a day or two. But for longer storage, those light blue silicone molds with six compartments and a lid are my absolute lifesaver! I blend up a big batch of something like sweet potato or peas, pour it into the mold, freeze it, and then pop out the frozen cubes into a freezer bag. This way, I always have a variety of healthy options ready to go, and it's so much less wasteful than opening a whole jar of store-bought food for just a few spoonfuls.
It’s not just about convenience; it’s about the peace of mind. Knowing exactly what goes into my baby's food, without added sugars, preservatives, or fillers, is priceless. Plus, the money it saves over time is significant. Think about how many individual baby food pouches or jars you buy in a month – blending your own ingredients is dramatically more cost-effective. You can buy fresh, seasonal produce and make a huge quantity for a fraction of the price.
Clean-up is also surprisingly easy. The cups and blades are usually dishwasher-safe, or a quick rinse with warm, soapy water does the trick. If you're on the fence about investing in a dedicated baby food maker, I can wholeheartedly recommend the Nutribullet Baby Blender. It turns what could be a time-consuming task into a simple, enjoyable part of nourishing your little one. I've experimented with so many combinations – from simple fruit purees like banana and avocado to more complex blends like spinach and pear, or even lentils and squash. It also makes introducing new textures much easier as you can control the consistency, gradually making it chunkier as your baby grows and gets used to solid foods. This flexibility is key for supporting their development. Trust me, your future self (and your wallet!) will thank you!
