I realized I rush everything.

washing my face

replying to texts

walking somewhere

so now I tell myself:

you’re not in a rush.

... Read moreI've personally struggled with rushing through almost everything—from washing my face to replying to texts and even just walking somewhere. It wasn't until I consciously started telling myself "you're not in a rush" that I began to notice a real difference. One helpful technique I found is what I'd call a mental declutter: if a task will take less than five minutes, I do it immediately, such as putting something away or taking something upstairs. This helps clear mental space and reduces the feeling of overwhelm. I've realized that when my mind has too many 'open tabs'—all the small to-dos stacking up—it creates anxiety that makes me rush other things unnecessarily. Phones and the pressure of fast communication often intensify this rushed feeling. By slowing down and focusing on one thing at a time, I've noticed I feel less annoyed by delays or slow moments. This isn't just about being slow—it's about reclaiming control over my time and mental energy. Rushing less has allowed me to savor everyday moments more, reducing stress and boosting my overall well-being. I recommend trying this awareness practice: next time you feel hurried, pause and say, "What is the rush?" and "Why am I rushing?" Often, answering those questions can help you decide to take things slower and enjoy the process rather than just rushing to the finish.

Our experience of separation from others and God is an illusion. We are all ultimately one, connected by love. When we feel frustrated with someone, it's because we've forgotten this interconnectedness and perceive them as separate and potentially threatening. Our ego, the part that s

When I realized I could become a wife
Getting married is not an easy decision and you can’t just get married without knowing you are prepared. I think no one is 100% prepared for anything in life, because we learn along the way, but before any decision we need to at least be sure we are ready to face any consequences of our actions

MY LIFE CHANGED
WHEN I REALIZED THAT....
People are not intentionally trying to hurt me. They're trying to keep themselves safe in ways they know how. People's inability to see my worth doesn't determine it. The judgement I have for others directly reflects areas that l continue to Focus and judge myself in. #lifecha
