Lemon8 scammed me out of my prize.
I doubt this post will be up long 😭 im just so irritated. The roomdecor challenge lasted a month. I had a post that was in second place the entire first week, then they removed it for being “unoriginal”, even though I spent hours making it. But then immediately the next day I had a second, completely different post shoot up to second place and stay there the ENTIRE rest of the month and finished the challenge in 2nd place. and was in 2nd the entire challenge.
So I finish in 2nd thinking I won but am worried bc of how they did me the first time. They said they’d reach out to winners in 7 days and instead took 3 weeks, 3 weeks I went thinking I won AirPod maxes and this girl thought she won an Amazon giftcard, was happy about it then suddenly got surprised with AirPods and me the Amazon card. It’s just frustrating and i definitely cried lmao. like why not remove the second one like they did the first then if it didn’t fit their guidelines instead of every night updating the leaderboard and leaving it on there 😭 and why even have a leaderboard that you update every night if you’re just going to go and pick & choose the winners after? it makes zero sense. they clearly saw it on there multiple times and didn’t remove it or give me a heads up they wouldn’t count it. I won a Stanley cup through lemon8cars with a post that wasn’t my pictures but I spent forever finding pics that fit, made collages, added text. They saw no problem with it but the lemon8home people apparently do. and im sure they have spite for me considering i was all confused when they removed my post the first time.
It just sucks. Im part of their home “creator” program which really is them just having you make all these posts for them with nothing in return. Them taking your prize and giving it to someone else. I’ve posted so many original posts that have done so well and no offense but the girl who won them hasn’t even posted since the challenge ended 3 weeks ago so clearly doesn’t even use the platform like I do. I just feel it is so so unfair. And I have the right to be upset about it. To be in 2nd place the entire challenge and then to not even win the 2nd place prize bc they get to pick and choose who wins is bull. I don’t even wanna post here anymore lmao
Update: they also removed me from their creator program bc I had a smidge of attitude about this situation lmao I am so irritated & over this. long story short f lemon8🖕🏻🥰
