Why you should be walking everyday for your health

You hear people say how good walking is for you but it’s so underestimated with how beneficial it is for not just your physical health but your mental health too.

Sometimes a bad/overwhelmed emotion can be calmed by just simply going for a walk (sun just makes it that much better).

Just walking 30 minutes a day can have so many benefits which I listed. If you’ve never paid close attention to how sedentary our lifestyles can be with how easily accessible most things are you might not be moving as much as you think or as often.

I know I wasn’t!

I love hiking for my form of “walking” for these benefits but thats not realistic 7x a week so just taking time for yourself and going out for a walk can do so much for you <3

Life can get busy but dont make time for the negative effects that not moving your body can cause down the road.

... Read moreWalking is often undervalued as a form of exercise that can significantly improve both physical and mental health. Engaging in a daily walking routine for at least 30 minutes can bring about numerous advantages, such as improving mood, burning calories, enhancing heart health, and even reducing the risk of chronic diseases. Furthermore, walking serves as a natural way to alleviate stress and improve sleep quality, helping to boost overall brainpower and creativity. As you consider embarking on this journey towards a healthier lifestyle, remember that even 10,000 steps may seem daunting; the key is to start moving your body daily and gradually increase your activity. Embrace the outdoors and enjoy the fresh air, as getting outside can uplift your spirits significantly. So don’t let a busy life keep you sedentary—commit to walking every day and see the positive impact on your health!
