Meet my service dog 🐕🦺
Sequoia is a 8 year old blue heeler, also known as an Australian cattle dog or a Queensland heeler. I have had her since she was a puppy and she is trained to alert me when I am fixing to go into a seizure by jumping or barking. If I do happen to go into a seizure she will try and roll me onto my side and lay there until it’s finished then go get someone. I self taught her myself and everyday we work together to bring awareness to epilepsy as it is not well know and not many people know what it looks like. Also not many people are educated on seizures or seizure alert dogs.
