PT1:13 ISLAMIC REMINDERS: RESPONSIBILITIES OF GRANDCHILDREN TOWARD GRANDPARENTS☪️
..............(Comment & Follow 🗣️👣)...............
✨️Grandparents are a precious blessing. Honoring them is a way of honoring the family, appreciating the past, and seeking the pleasure of Allah.✨️
.....(“The hands that once blessed your childhood deserve honor in their old age.”)....
Grandparents are among Allah's greatest blessings.
They connect us to our family's history, preserve our identity, and often teach us lessons that only a lifetime of experience can provide. Their love, wisdom, and sincere duʿā' become gifts that continue benefiting us long after they return to Allah.
Honoring grandparents is part of honoring the family Allah blessed us with. They deserve our respect, gentle speech, visits, care, patience, and appreciation—especially as they grow older and more dependent on those they once cared for.
The Prophet ﷺ also said:
> "He is not one of us who does not show mercy to our young and respect to our elders." (Jāmiʿ al-Tirmidhī)
One of the greatest ways to continue honoring grandparents after their passing is through sincere duʿā', giving charity on their behalf when appropriate, maintaining the family ties they cherished, and preserving the values they worked so hard to pass down.
