Intentions feel different. They’re quieter and more grounded.
Good morning and happy Thursday 💚
I’ve been thinking a lot about the impact of intentions lately, especially after starting July with a few simple ones instead of a long list of pressure-filled goals.
Intentions feel different. They’re quieter and more grounded. They don’t demand perfection, they just gently guide your direction. Yesterday really reminded me of that. It wasn’t a perfect day, but it was an intentional one, and I could feel it in the small choices I made throughout the day, even when things weren’t going exactly how I planned.
I’ve also been playing around with this new wellness program my company launched, and I’m realizing how much easier it is to stay on track when you have tools that support your intentions instead of just relying on willpower. It’s not about doing everything perfectly, it’s about having something that keeps bringing you back to what you said you wanted.
There’s something powerful about waking up and deciding, “this is what I want to be mindful of today.” It doesn’t mean everything goes smoothly, but it does mean you’re aware… and awareness changes everything.
I’m realizing that intentions aren’t really about control, they’re about alignment. Aligning my thoughts, my choices, and my heart with where I want to go and who I want to be.
And when I end my day reflecting on even the small wins, it builds momentum I didn’t even realize I needed.
So today I’m stepping into Thursday with the same mindset: not perfect, just intentional.
What’s one intention you’re carrying into today? 💚
