Hoopin' It
This is my second time using the hoop. The first time I did 15 minutes, they say 30 minutes is equivalent to 2 miles walking. So one mile the first time. This second time I did 22 minutes. I'm proud of myself. Now if I can just keep my groove next time.
OHHH, I also NEVER video myself doing stuff like this. Stepped out my comfort zone for real. 🥰
AliciaXL thanks for your daily updates. You inspired me to get back to my journey, Thank you 🥰👌
Gabbi Tuft I so wish I could afford you protein powder and new bars when they come out.
Starting a fitness routine can sometimes feel daunting, especially when trying something new like hooping. In my experience, consistency has been key to seeing improvements. When I first tried hooping for 15 minutes, I learned that 30 minutes of hooping can be comparable to walking two miles, which motivated me to keep going. During my second session, increasing my time to 22 minutes felt like a personal victory and showed me the benefits of gradual progress. What’s truly helped me stay engaged is tracking my progress and celebrating small wins, like going a few minutes longer or maintaining my rhythm throughout the session. It’s also pushed me out of my comfort zone to record myself, which at first I was hesitant to do but now see as a confidence booster and a way to visually track my improvements. Hooping offers more than just physical exercise — it’s a fun way to enhance coordination, core strength, and endurance. Compared to traditional cardio exercises like walking or running, hooping provides an engaging routine that can be done almost anywhere and doesn’t require expensive equipment. Plus, the rhythm and movement offer a dance-like quality that makes the workout enjoyable. For anyone starting their own hooping journey or looking for an exciting way to stay active, I recommend setting realistic goals and being patient with yourself. Document your progress, mix things up with variations in hooping techniques, and consider following or connecting with others on similar fitness journeys for inspiration and support. Remember, every minute counts and stepping outside your comfort zone, whether it’s recording your workouts or trying new routines, can lead to rewarding results. Hooping has become more than just a workout for me — it’s a way to stay motivated and connected to my body’s progress.
