Another One Busted
🚨TRUCK DRIVER REMOVED AT GUNPOINT
WEST MEMPHIS, Ark. — On Tuesday, Raleigh May Cupples was driving on the I-55 bridge when the car ahead of her switched lanes, revealing a semi-truck heading straight toward her.
“The big truck gets over in the right lane, and that’s when I see that truck,” Raleigh recalled. “My first thought was, is this a truck hooked up to another truck pulling it?”
Footage captured just prior shows the semi-truck indeed traveling the wrong way.
Arkansas State Police arrived at the scene. At this point, Raleigh noted they were on the Tennessee side of the bridge. The trooper jumped the median with his weapon drawn, as she began recording. He then holstered his weapon, leapt down from the barrier, and approached the driver’s side of the truck.
The officer opened the door and tried to get the driver to come out. Raleigh observed that the man refused. The trooper made an effort to pull him from the cab, but it seemed he resisted. A second trooper, armed with a rifle, and a third officer who also had a weapon drawn, arrived moments later. Together, they managed to extract the man from the vehicle and take him to the ground.
